Beanies, Slow Mini-Golf Patrons, and 13 Years of Good Times

The Books Boss League completed the 2026 Live Draft last weekend, signaling the start of the 13^th season of the league!

Nine managers made the draft in person at Beanies Bar and Grille, located in Mount Joy, PA. It was another great afternoon with great people!

THE SHACK

The day was not over! After the conclusion of the draft, eight managers made their way over to The Shack in Manheim, Pa. to take on one of the hardest mini-golf courses in the state. A tradition beginning back in 2022, this was the fifth annual mini-golf challenge taken on by the league.

Heat, rain, questionable decision making, the speed of the greens, insufferable bugs, as well as pace of play concerns from other patrons were just a few of the elements on display during the afternoon. Since we are a resilient league, we powered through the 19-hole gauntlet of a course.

New Records

Logan’s score of 73, as well as Jordan’s 102 are both new league records in the mini-golf challenge at the Shack. Also, since Jordan finished last, here he is with the clown sundae.
