“Where we supposed to park?”
Luckily Tim found a spot to park in Mount Joy so he could join us at the live draft last weekend, as the Books Boss League completed the 2025 Live Draft at Beanies! Thank you to Beanies for hosting us, it was a huge success!
Let’s take a look at the yahoo draft grades and projections following the draft!

For reference, Yahoo predicted that the Thunder would go 1-13 and finish in last place in 2024. All the Thunder did was go 11-5 and win their fourth championship, proving the doubters wrong. So if there is any value in these projections, perhaps Jack can take the same road and win the league despite being projected to finish last this season.
Week 1 Update
Galen has to be frustrated and we’re only two games in. We can’t fault him for benching Javonte Williams (19), but it hasn’t exactly been the best weekend so far.
Not only has Christian McCaffrey popped up on the injury report before playing a game, but Xavier Worthy (0) left the game after three plays on Friday night. Thankfully Mahomes (30) did his job, but it essentially got canceled out playing against Justin Herbert (34). It could be a long weekend for the WinningWinners.
Conclusion
Even with the slow start from Galen, every team and manager is filled with optimism to find success this season! It’s the rare part of the season where everyone still feels great about their teams. (We’ll check in with Galen soon).
