Tim’s Unwavering Optimism, Tim and Jack keep Receipts and the Playoff Teams are set

There will be no drama in the final week of the regular season as the playoff teams are set, with only seeding adjustments to be made going forward. The Piranhas have locked up a bye in week 15 and can plan for week 16 in the semifinals. If HSG gets a win, the other bye is theirs. Otherwise, the Squatches and HCTM are still in play for the bye.

AMAZON PIRANHAS, 10-3

Earning a convincing win over HSG, the Piranhas can hang their hat on a first-round bye and get ready for action in week 16. Also in play for the regular season points award, the Piranhas certainly have the pieces to make a championship run, but the only thing that will hold them back is themselves.

HURTS SO GOOD, 9-4

We’re still wondering why this team traded Amon Ra St. Brown for an injured Cooper Kupp a few weeks back. It’s probably because Tim started doing his research after already accepting the trade. Let that be a lesson Tim. Only scoring 109 points it was one of his works weeks despite team MVP Jalen Hurts scoring 40 points. With a win, HSG can clinch a bye. With a loss, they would need to be outscored by about 92 points to not get a bye. Just remember though, Tim keeps receipts.

SQUATCHES, 8-5

Riding a four game winning streak, the Squatches are getting hot at the right time. Scoring the most points in the league for the third week in a row, the Squatches have become a team that nobody wants to play. Peaking at the right time, the Squatches have a good chance to make a championship run.

HCTM, 8-5

Also sitting at 8-5, HCTM is in play for a bye, but realistically not at all. Currently sitting in the #4 spot, they will need Justin Fields and Nick Chubb to carry the load if they have any chance to go back-to-back. Otherwise, we’re looking at an early round exit.

MISFITS, 7-6

Out of sorts during recent weeks, the Misfits are on a three-game losing skid and just lost Lamar Jackson indefinitely with a knee injury. Under normal circumstances, while not ideal, the Misfits would turn to their backup on the roster. But that’s exactly the problem, the Misfits did not account for any injuries and have no other quarterbacks to replace Jackson on the roster. Look for the Misfits to be big spenders this week for a QB. Oh wait, they have $0 FAAB dollars. See you next year Ben!

ICECAPS, 7-6

Finally clinching a playoff spot after a worrisome past three weeks, the Icecaps got consistency from their lineup with all but one player scoring in double digits. Jack as well keeps receipts as he made it known that the Misfits said that they were going to beat the Icecaps last week. Well that didn’t happen and the Icecaps will try to prove everyone wrong again and make a run this season in the postseason.

ELIMINATED FROM PLAYOFFS

AVALANCHE, THUNDER, GWW, SANDSTORMS

It was finally the end of the road for the Avalanche and Thunder, who both dropped their games to finish off any remote playoff hopes they had. It has been a lost season for all these teams and now at this point of the season, these are the four lowest scoring teams in the league, so it appears to have worked out in that sense. Technically, these teams are playing for seeding in the consolation bracket but they can start preparing for the first round of the consolation bracket in week 16. Better luck next year!

CONCLUSION

The regular season points as well as the season record crown is still up for grabs as we enter the final week of the regular season. Good luck to all!

Cheers!
